French-Turkish actor appeared in a string of high-profile films, as well as hit BBC series The Missing Tchéky Karyo, who appeared in some of director Luc Besson’s biggest hits and a string of international films, died on Friday at the age of 72, his family have announced. When an Australian explorer became obsessed with diving deeper into it, he hatched a daring plan that could cost his life Deep in a valley in the New Zealand wilderness, clear cold water rushes across moss-covered rocks. In the morning the mist rises up and lays across the valley. In the afternoon sun glints on the Pearce River, shafts of light filter through native tree canopy. It is a fecund, primeval place. The water has flowed down through tunnels in Mount Arthur, in South Island’s north-west, to meet at the Pearce Resurgence at its base. On the surface it looks innocuous, a calm pond. But beneath it is one of the largest and deepest cave networks in the world; unfathomable, an unknown habitat, seemingly bottomless. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s next with Sooraj Barjatya goes on floors; Anupam Kher shares update from sets

Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has officially commenced shooting for his next directorial under the Rajshri Productions banner, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead. The untitled film, a romantic family entertainer, went on floors on November 1, 2025, marking the beginning of a new collaboration between Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. Actor Anupam Kher, who has been a long-time collaborator of Barjatya, took to social media to share a special update from the sets. Revealing that this project marks his 549th film, Kher wrote, “ANNOUNCING MY 549th FILM:???? Delighted to share that my 549th untitled film started today with one and only SOORAJ BARJATYA!
