Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat renovation on hold after Environmental activist files complaint with NGT
Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai bungalow, Mannat, is set to undergo renovations this summer. The actor and his family will temporarily relocate from their famous Bandra residence to facilitate the renovation and expansion work. However, the project has encountered a setback as an activist has raised concerns about potential violations in the renovation plan, prompting a request for the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to intervene and halt the work. According to a report by Bar & Bench on Monday, social activist Santosh Daundkar has filed a complaint with the NGT, accusing Shah Rukh Khan and the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) of violating regulations in obtaining the necessary Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) clearance for the renovations at Mannat.
