Jackky Bhagnani has returned to acting after a six-year gap with the Independence Day anthem 'Tere Rang Mein,' released under his music label Jjust Music. The actor-producer said the song offered him an opportunity to return to the screen with a project that was personally meaningful to him. Bhagnani described himself as a patriot and said the nature of the song played an important role in his decision to face the camera again. “I am a patriot by heart. It’s been quite some time since I faced the camera. So, I thought the best way to come back is with the right cause,” Bhagnani said. The actor's return comes after several years of focusing primarily on film production. According to Bhagnani, stepping away from acting was a conscious decision as he worked behind the scenes and became more involved in producing films. Samantha lights up Thassadiya as Maa Inti Bangaaram gears up for release

The makers of Maa Inti Bangaaram have unveiled the film’s first single, “Thassadiya,” offering a vibrant glimpse into the much-anticipated action-comedy family drama led by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Backed by Tralala Moving Pictures, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on May 15, 2026.

Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, “Thassadiya” is a high-energy wedding track that blends festive beats with a contemporary groove. Penned by Rehman and sung by Chinmayi Sripada and Punya Selva, the song captures the spirit of celebration, love, and togetherness. Samantha commands the screen with dynamic choreography and a striking presence, setting the tone for the film’s lively narrative.

Sharing her excitement, Samantha said, “‘Thassadiya’ is pure celebration. It’s the kind of song that instantly lifts your mood, and shooting it was an absolute blast. We wanted it to reflect the warmth and chaos of a big family wedding.” Composer Santhosh Narayanan added, “We aimed to create something rooted in tradition yet sonically fresh. ‘Thassadiya’ is just the beginning of a very exciting album.”

Created by Raj Nidimoru and directed by Nandini Reddy, the film marks Nandini’s reunion with Samantha after their successful collaboration on Oh! Baby. The cast also includes Diganth and Gulshan Devaiah in key roles, alongside an ensemble supporting cast.

Positioned as a blend of action, emotion, and humor, Maa Inti Bangaaram showcases Samantha in a physically demanding role, balancing intense sequences with heartfelt family moments. Following a well-received teaser, the release of “Thassadiya” has further heightened expectations. With its summer release strategy, the film is shaping up to be one of the season’s major entertainers.
