A Gangster’s Life review – funny in parts, but not always deliberately

The much-anticipated trailer of The Bhootnii, starring Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and Beyounick, is finally out! Blending horror, action, and comedy the film promises to take you a never-seen-before style rollercoaster of jump scares, hilarious punchlines, and high-octane drama as the makers unveiled the trailer on March 29. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, The Bhootnii is set to transport audiences into a spooky yet entertaining world, packed with Sanjay Dutt’s signature swag and a stellar ensemble cast.

A Star-Studded Trailer Launch in Mumbai

The trailer was unveiled digitally on Saturday which showcased a glimpse of the characters essayed by the leads including a glimpse of Sanjay Dutt as the ghosthunter and Mouni Roy as ‘the Bhootni’. The electrifying launch, which was held in Mumbai along with the star cast, was aimed at giving fans a glimpse of what to expect. And going by the trailer, the film is expected to feature a gripping storyline infused with eerie thrills and comic relief.

Expressing his excitement about the film, Sunny Singh shared, "I always wanted to do a horror comedy. When I read the script and met Sidhaant Sachdev, I loved the entire concept. With Sanju sir on board, I knew it would be an unforgettable experience. We used to talk about doing something in comedy, and this film was destined to happen. People have loved the poster, and so have I! Every horror comedy is unique, but this concept is unlike anything seen before. It was shot beautifully, and my friends are already excited. Audiences have loved me in my films before, and I think this time, too, they will shower the same love.”

Co-produced by Hunar Mukut & Maanayata Dutt, and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt under Soham Rockstar Entertainment & Three Dimension Motion Pictures, The Bhootnii promises to redefine the horror-comedy genre. With an intriguing premise, a powerhouse cast, and a perfect blend of spooks and humor, it is all set to hit theatres on April 18, 2025.
