Karan Johar started his career with Aditya Chopra; for a long time, YRF distributed films of Dharma and hence, their bond goes back a long way. Hence, both banners have never released their film on the same day. As a result, July 18, 2025, is a landmark date for films backed by these banners, which will be clashing in cinemas for the first time ever. A Strategic Big-Screen Launch with Sikandar Scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2025, Raid 2 is poised to be one of Bollywood’s biggest releases of the year. A source quoted by Pinkvilla revealed, “Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat, and Bhushan Kumar are reaching out directly to the audience with the communication of being the next big-ticket releases for the big screen. Being a quintessential Hero vs Villain story, the makers are aiming to reach out to the least common denominator.”

To amplify its visibility, the Raid 2 teaser will be screened alongside Salman Khan’s Sikandar, which is slated to hit theaters on March 30, 2025, during the Eid festivities. This strategic move leverages Salman Khan’s massive Eid audience pull, ensuring that the teaser reaches a wide and diverse crowd. The source added, “While a digital launch will take place towards the end of next week, audiences will get to see it on the big screen from March 30.”

The Raid 2 team has reportedly secured a lucrative deal with multiplex owners to ensure the teaser gets prime visibility across major cinema chains. Additionally, the Key Delivery Message (KDM) for the teaser will be shared with single-screen theater owners, giving them the flexibility to screen it at their discretion.
