Ali Fazal teams up with Paatal Lok director Prosit Roy and Sonali Bendre for action-thriller; filming begins in April

After captivating audiences with his versatile performances, Ali Fazal is set to headline another high-octane action thriller series, this time collaborating with the acclaimed Prosit Roy, director of Paatal Lok Season 1. Adding to the excitement, the film will also feature the ever-graceful Sonali Bendre in a pivotal role. Ali Fazal has become the most prominent actor headlining major shows and will he another addition soon. Set to shoot quickly in April, the actor is expected to be seen in an avatar like never before.

The yet-to-be-titled project will commence production in mid-2025, once Ali Fazal wraps up his current commitments with Raj & DK’s period fantasy drama series, Rakht Brahmand.

Speaking about the collaboration, a source close to the production shared, "This series is designed to be a thrilling, large-scale action spectacle, unlike anything Ali has done before. Prosit Roy’s unique vision and storytelling prowess make him the perfect director to helm this project. With Ali’s dedication to his craft and Sonali Bendre’s strong screen presence, we are looking at a film that will push boundaries in both narrative depth and action sequences. The team is gearing up for something truly special."

The series promises to be a gripping cinematic experience, blending intense action with a deeply layered narrative. Along with this new series, Ali Fazal is also gearing up for the much-anticipated Mirzapur: The Film releases of Metro In Dino, Lahore 1947, the pan-India film Thug Life, his Hollywood venture Rule Breakers, and Rakht Brahmand.
