EXCLUSIVE: Arjun Kapoor amicably parts ways with YRF Talent Management; signs up with Matrix

Arjun Kapoor completed 12 years as a film actor on May 11. On this special occasion, he uploaded a tribute video to his debut film, Ishaqzaade (2012). It was produced by one of the reputed production houses in the country, Yash Raj Films (YRF) and they also handled his talent management and public relations. But it has now come to light that after 12 years, Arjun has moved out of the YRF Talent Management.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both Arjun and YRF parted ways amicably. Arjun wanted to explore newer avenues and hence, took this decision. He and YRF’s head honcho Aditya Chopra continue to hold each other in high regard and will surely collaborate in future when the right opportunity comes along.”

Another source said, “Arjun Kapoor will now be handled by Matrix IEC Pvt Ltd, co-founded by Reshma Shetty.” Besides Arjun, Matrix also handles prominent celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Vicky Kaushal, Karisma Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda Athiya Shetty, etc. Arjun has also got a new PR team on board.

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in The Lady Killer (2023), opposite Bhumi Pednekar. His next film is the much-awaited Singham Again, in which he plays the antagonist, Danger Lanka. This will be followed by Mere Husband Ki Biwi, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. Recently, Boney Kapoor also announced that No Entry 2 will soon go on floors and it’ll star Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.

A few days ago, Arjun Kapoor won hearts when he came forward to help the 10-year-old Delhi boy, Jaspreet Singh, whose video of selling rolls for a living following the death of his father, went viral. Arjun shared a news report about the kid on Instagram and expressed the wish to support the kid’s education for which he sought help from his followers to know his whereabouts. As expected, his gesture was applauded by netizens.
