Robbie’s character, Cathy, had “extremely hairy armpits” in the 2026 adaptation of the novel, but “unfortunately the scene that we see them didn’t make it in there”, said the director. Character actor, who appeared in more than 220 roles across seven decades, died in Vermont on Tuesday

M Emmet Walsh, the character actor who appeared in more than 220 film and television roles including Blade Runner, Knives Out, and the Coen brothers’ films Blood Simple and Raising Arizona, has died aged 88.

Walsh’s manager Sandy Joseph confirmed to industry publication Variety that he died Tuesday in Vermont. His cause of death was cardiac arrest.
