Anees Bazmee reacts to rumours about the exit of Diljit Dosanjh from No Entry 2; says, “I’m just happy that the film is getting made”

Director Anees Bazmee has broken his silence on the reported exit of Diljit Dosanjh from No Entry 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2005 comedy hit. While the news of Diljit walking out of the project has made headlines, Bazmee maintains that his focus remains on getting the film made, regardless of casting shifts. Speaking to News18, Anees Bazmee said, “I’m just happy that the film is getting made. There’s no bigger joy than that. At this point, woh hi ho raha hai jo upar waala chahta hai (Whatever is happening is the will of God). I work with a lot of earnestness and I leave the rest to God.” Bazmee also reflected on the reality of filmmaking, noting that ideal casting doesn’t always work out. “It’s not like I’ve only worked with actors who’ve been my first choices on the films I’ve done so far. I’ve had to work with actors who were my second and even third choices. But once these films got released, audiences felt that those actors fit the characters perfectly and nobody else could...

Kartik Aaryan is no stranger to making a statement. The actor recently took to social media to share a glimpse of his latest purchase – a stunning Range Rover SV. In a picture-perfect moment captured alongside his beloved furry companion, Katori, Kartik showcased his brand new wheels, reportedly valued at a staggering Rs. 6 crore.

Captioning the post with characteristic wit, Kartik humorously remarked, "Humaari Range thodi si badh gayi (Our range just got bigger)," subtly hinting at the upgrade in his collection. Kabir Khan, the filmmaker collaborating with Kartik on the upcoming project Chandu Champion, couldn't resist commenting as he wrote, “Great choice Chandu”.

In a gesture of appreciation for his performance in the 2022 hit movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan found himself the recipient of an extravagant present from T-Series chairperson and producer Bhushan Kumar. The generous gift? None other than a sleek McLaren GT. Taking to social media to share his excitement, Kartik posted pictures of his new wheels. “Chinese khaane ke liye nayi table gift mil gayi,” he wrote, translating to “Got a new table gift for Chinese food.” The actor then humorously added, “Mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai suna tha... Itna bada hoga nahi pata tha,” loosely translating to “I had heard that the fruit of hard work is sweet. I didn't know he will be this big.”

The Portable Door review – Harry Potter-ish YA fantasy carried by hardworking cast

Jeffrey Walker’s adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel retains its edge thanks to its performances, but gets stuck on the whole door thing Adapted from Tom Holt’s 2003 young-adult fantasy novel, this is a passable attempt at kickstarting a new Harry Potter-style franchise set in a fusty-quirky institution, dosed up with extra Gilliamesque grotesquery.
