Archana Puran Singh reveals why she hid her marriage for 4 years

Indian actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh has revealed that she kept her marriage to actor Parmeet Sethi a secret for nearly four years, citing industry pressures that once discouraged married women from pursuing acting careers. Archana, known for her work in several iconic Bollywood films, married Parmeet Sethi in 1992. However, she chose not to make the marriage public at the time. Speaking recently, the actress said that during that phase in the film industry, marriage was often seen as a setback for female actors, leading to fewer opportunities. She described this mindset as a “nonsense trend” and said it played a major role in her decision to keep her marital status private while continuing to work. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's son AbRam’s performance at Dhirubhai Ambani International School's annual day event has become the talk of the town. For the unversed, during his skit, AbRam struck Shah Rukh's signature open-arms pose. The event was held on Friday in Mumbai.

Coming to the professional front, the 57-year-old actor is currently awaiting the release of Dunki. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, it is slated to release on December 21. Along with Khan, the forthcoming flick also stars Taapsee Pannu. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing an important role in the film. Notably, it will be clashing with Prabhas’ Salaar, which is scheduled to release on December 22. Shah Rukh and Prabhas will be clashing for the second time.
