Priyamani boards Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 5 as shoot begins in Mumbai, reunites with Maidaan co-star Ajay Devgn: Report

Actress Priyamani has reportedly joined the cast of Golmaal 5, the latest instalment of Rohit Shetty’s popular comedy franchise. The development marks her reunion with Ajay Devgn after their collaboration in Maidaan. According to Variety India, the first shooting schedule is expected to span approximately a month. Filming for the film commenced on Monday, February 23, in Mumbai, with Ajay Devgn slated to join the sets on February 25. While details about Priyamani’s character are being kept under wraps, reports suggest that she has already begun shooting her portions. The Golmaal franchise remains one of Hindi cinema’s most commercially successful comedy series, known for its ensemble-driven storytelling and recurring characters. Klokkenluider review – tough-guy actor Neil Maskell directs brooding black comedy

There is something of In Bruges about this Belgium-set tale of whistleblowers in hiding, with a little bit of David Brent

Neil Maskell is the charismatic British actor known for his complex, seriocomic tough-guy performances in the movies of Ben Wheatley and Paul Andrew Williams; now he makes a worthwhile feature debut as writer-director in this diverting if slightly lightweight black-comic sketch about political paranoia, on which Wheatley has an executive producer credit.

Amit Shah and Sura Dohnke play Ewan and Silke, a married couple who are whistleblowers hiding out in Belgium, having revealed a government secret to a newspaper. (“Klokkenluider” – literally “bellringer” – is the Dutch word for “whistleblower”, used throughout the Low Countries.)
