It’s a movie that even Blomkamp has disavowed. “I fucked it up,” he said bluntly in a 2015 interview . But I think he’s too hard on himself: a decade on, Elysium might be worthy of re-appraisal. In 2154, Earth is an overpopulated, polluted dust bowl. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan shows increased by exhibitors in its 4th weekend due to audience demand

Due to audience demand, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan’s shows are being increased by multiplexes & single screens across the country who have started reinstating show times of the film! Pathaan is in cruise control at the box office right now and Yash Raj Films slashed ticket prices to Rs. 110 on Friday and Rs. 200 for Saturday and Sunday leading to a spiking of public demand across India. Meanwhile, the all-time blockbuster Pathaan is rock-steady at the box office with collections at Rs. 981 crore gross worldwide! Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is now the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema and also the highest-grossing film of YRF’s Spy Universe! Pathaan, on its fourth Friday, saw a solid trend again at the counters despite competition and stayed rock-steady. It collected Rs. 2.25 crore nett in India (Hindi – 2.20 crore, All Dubbed versions – 0.05 crore) which signals a good fourth weekend on the cards for this box office juggernaut! Pathaan has now recorded $44.96 million in the overseas territories alone, while nett collection in India stands at Rs. 508.10 crore (Hindi - Rs. 490.35 crore, Dubbed - Rs. 17.75 crore)! The total worldwide gross is at an incredible 981 crore (India gross: Rs. 612 crore, overseas: Rs. 369 crore)! As his breakthrough classic returns to the screen, Hayes looks back One day in 1957, Melvyn Hayes was on the set of a film called Woman in a Dressing Gown when a man sat down next to him. “I was getting paid £5 a day and I’d been on location for three days,” the actor recalls. “All I had to do was walk up to a house and put a newspaper through a letterbox. That was my part. Finished. I said to this bloke, ‘I can’t believe the waste of money on this film. Take me. The Portable Door review – Harry Potter-ish YA fantasy carried by hardworking cast

Jeffrey Walker’s adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel retains its edge thanks to its performances, but gets stuck on the whole door thing Adapted from Tom Holt’s 2003 young-adult fantasy novel, this is a passable attempt at kickstarting a new Harry Potter-style franchise set in a fusty-quirky institution, dosed up with extra Gilliamesque grotesquery. Co-produced by the Jim Henson Company, the production design is poky and intense, and the cast – with Christoph Waltz and Sam Neill larking it up – give it their all. But amid all this clutter, it sometimes has trouble moving its story forward. The Portable Door has a nice conceit: the venerable London corporation of JW Wells & Co is responsible for engineering all the daily incidents of coincidence and serendipity that happen in urban life.
