Director Anees Bazmee has broken his silence on the reported exit of Diljit Dosanjh from No Entry 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2005 comedy hit. While the news of Diljit walking out of the project has made headlines, Bazmee maintains that his focus remains on getting the film made, regardless of casting shifts. Speaking to News18, Anees Bazmee said, “I’m just happy that the film is getting made. There’s no bigger joy than that. At this point, woh hi ho raha hai jo upar waala chahta hai (Whatever is happening is the will of God). I work with a lot of earnestness and I leave the rest to God.” Bazmee also reflected on the reality of filmmaking, noting that ideal casting doesn’t always work out. “It’s not like I’ve only worked with actors who’ve been my first choices on the films I’ve done so far. I’ve had to work with actors who were my second and even third choices. But once these films got released, audiences felt that those actors fit the characters perfectly and nobody else could...

Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Project K to release on January 12, 2024

The release date of the highly anticipated Project K has been announced. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles, the upcoming Nag Ashwin directorial will hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. The announcement was made on the occasion of Mahashivratri on January 18. The first poster was unveiled on Saturday along with the announcement of the release date. The first part will establish the sci-fi world and the conflicts of the magnum era. Celebrating the 50 years of Vyjayanthi Movies, the plan is to make it a biggest film of Indian cinema. The makers are shooting both parts in one go and will be released similarly like Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1 and Part 2. It is currently in the post-production stage and the makers are working on the VFX parts. The first glimpse of Deepika was released on her birthday. Project K is Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film and is simultaneously being shot in Hindi and Telugu. The Portable Door review – Harry Potter-ish YA fantasy carried by hardworking cast

Jeffrey Walker’s adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel retains its edge thanks to its performances, but gets stuck on the whole door thing Adapted from Tom Holt’s 2003 young-adult fantasy novel, this is a passable attempt at kickstarting a new Harry Potter-style franchise set in a fusty-quirky institution, dosed up with extra Gilliamesque grotesquery.
