Ahaan Panday to play gangster in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next, Jimmy Sheirgill joins cast: Report

Following the success of Saiyaara, breakout actor Ahaan Panday is set to step into a markedly different space with his second feature film. As per a report by Variety India, the actor will portray a gangster in filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming action-romance. The role signals a shift from Ahaan’s debut performance as a troubled musician dealing with past trauma in Saiyaara. For the new project, the actor has reportedly undergone intensive preparation that includes hand-to-hand combat and weapon training to align with the physical demands of the character’s aggressive screen presence. The report also states that Jimmy Shergill has joined the cast in a pivotal role. The film marks his return to a collaboration with Yash Raj Films after more than two decades. One of his most notable earlier associations with the banner remains Mohabbatein, in which he appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Amul pays heartfelt tribute to the late Vikram Gokhale’s career

Amul, the Indian brand of milk products, is known for coming up with tributes to various personalities who have made the country proud through its cartoon images. They have now presented a similar tribute to the veteran actor Vikram Gokhale, who passed away recently on 26 November at the age of 77.

The picture has Gokhale in three different avatars. The black and white image shows the veteran artiste smiling and in a relaxed and joyful mood. The portrait also has the words – Har Part Ke Samrat. It speaks about Gokhale’s immense talent of playing different types of characters with relative ease.

The image, as expected, has gone viral. One can find numerous emotional comments on it made by the fans of the late actor.

Gokhale entered the movie world way back in the early 1970s and continued working for five decades till his death in both Hindi and Marathi films. He was also known for his performances in Marathi plays, along with stints in Hindi and Marathi television.
