According to a source familiar to Yung Gravy, the relationship between the famous rapper and Sheri Nicole Easterling, the mother of Addison Rae, is merely "viral bait." A PR relationship exists. The source said that while it seems like a kiss, it is not. They continued, "I don't believe he's merely yearning after older women in real life," adding that Yung Gravy, 26, prefers typically "young f-king blonde chicks like Tana Mongeau." That simply isn't true. The source also said that Yung Gravy, real name Matthew Raymond Hauri, was corresponding with a blonde female acquaintance of theirs through Instagram. The buddy is 25 years old. The "Betty" artist and Easterling, 42, created a stir on Sunday when they came to the 2022 MTV VMAs together following her divorce from Monty Lopez, 46, whom she had been separated from over allegations of infidelity. Yung Gravy revealed to Page Six on the red carpet that they initially connected on "the internet" and "Chatted online" a few times before hooking up in person. "I approached her first. I was aware of her and believed she was doing well," he stated. But according to the insider, Easterling might have started a relationship with Gravy for other purposes. The insider claimed that Easterling would seek out the hottest young man because of Lopez's rumored liaison with 25-year-old Renée Ash. If she had been successful, Pete Davidson would have been the ideal candidate, but Yung Gravy is the next best thing. A request for clarification from Page Six was not answered directly by representatives for Gravy and Easterling. After the PDA-heavy night, Gravy rushed to social media to stand up for Easterling against the online trolls. She recently became single and is enjoying herself. In reaction to a video showing the musician kissing his new girlfriend on the red carpet, the artist responded on Twitter, "Leave her alone, lol."
