Renowned Telugu actor and former MLA Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away on Sunday at the age of 83. He breathed his last at his residence in Hyderabad, leaving behind a legacy spanning over four decades in Indian cinema. Known for his impeccable performances across genres, Rao had acted in more than 750 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. His versatility allowed him to portray a wide range of roles—from iconic villains to memorable character roles. Films like Pratighatana, Aha Naa Pellanta, Shiva, and Mahatma cemented his reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s finest actors. Born in Vijayawada, Kota Srinivasa Rao began his professional life as a banker and theatre artist before entering films in the late 1970s. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to social media on Tuesday night to inform his followers that he had tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time. The actor has been shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.

On Tuesday night, the megastar took to his official Twitter account to share the news. “I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also," he wrote.

Back in 2020, Big B had tested positive for Covid-19 and was even admitted to the hospital. He had tweeted, “I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital. Family and staff undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested."

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. Apart from this, he will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor with Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The film releases on September 9.
