Diane Keaton’s nail clippers for $960: what’s behind the new boom in celebrity estate auctions?

With beloved stars’ personal items increasingly up for grabs after they die, a new generation of fans are bidding on everything from bowler hats to dog bowls From Diane Keaton’s bowler hats and polka dot scarfs, to Gene Hackman’s used paint brushes, to Terence Stamp’s love letters from Jean Shrimpton and even Matthew Perry’s black leather wallet (his credit cards and AAA membership card still inside), fans are being offered – at a price – increasingly personal items from the estates of dead celebrities. The growing trend for auctions of deceased famous people’s personal items – which has boomed ever since the hugely popular Marilyn Monroe estate sale in 1999 – has even attracted its own portmanteau: “deleb” as in dead celebrity. Timothée Chalamet was caught kissing a girl at Coachella

Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet does not waste time at Coachella: while other celebrities enjoy music and show off outfits, the Dune star spends time in the arms of a stranger. The Internet got a video in which 26-year-old Timothy kisses a mysterious brunette. Fans of Chalamet recognized the idol by the cap and sweater with red stains, which the actor was wearing that evening. The Hollywood Pipeline, which published the video, was unable to identify the celebrity's companion. At first, the fans decided that Timothy's new passion was influencer and model Sarah Talabi. The girl and her twin sister rested this weekend in the company of an actor who published a story on Instagram: "I spent the best time with the best people." The social networks also got pictures in which the star is dancing with one of the Talabi sisters. Despite the fact that in the Hollywood Pipeline video, the actor kisses a brunette (and the Talabi sisters are blondes), several American media wrote about Timothy's affair with Sarah at once. But the model refused to answer questions from journalists and advised the media to pay attention to climate problems. According to other sources, the popular model Cindy Kimberly (Wulf) may turn out to be Timothy's mysterious companion. Eyewitnesses from the festival claim that the star of the French Herald also flirted with her. Cindy became popular on social media when, in December 2015, Justin Bieber posted a photo of her on his profile and captioned it: "God, who is this girl?" While the press is wondering who owns the "glass shoe," Timothy's fans have launched their own trend on Twitter: girls write posts claiming that it was they who kissed Chalamet that evening at Coachella.
