Preity Zinta approaches Bombay High Court to take down AI deepfake content; next hearing scheduled on July 6

Actor Preity Zinta has approached the Bombay High Court seeking the removal of AI-generated deepfake videos, morphed images and other unauthorised content featuring her from social media and online platforms. The actress has also sought an injunction to prevent the publication and circulation of such content in the future. The matter came up for hearing before a single bench of Justice Madhav Jamdar on Friday. After hearing preliminary submissions, the court directed the parties, including the online platforms concerned, to work out a mechanism for taking down the allegedly offending material. The matter has now been listed for further hearing on July 6. Zack Snyder's stamp remains unique in the industry, and he is one of the few filmmakers who has a gigantic wave of haters and, at the same time, followers. His next project, Rebel Moon, will be released in 2023. The 2022 Oscars, as you well know, have been overshadowed by a slap that Will Smith has given to Chris Rock after the comic made a joke regarding the alopecia suffered by the wife of the protagonist of The Prince Bel-Air. The networks have caught fire, and the reasons why Smith reacted in this way have even been sought (the actor's support has had from other colleagues after starring at that moment has even been detailed ).
