One of the biggest multi-starrers of Hindi Cinema, Housefull 5, was released on Friday and has been well-received. This was evident with the hold on Monday. The film has nearly 19 major actors - Akshay Kumar, Abhishek A Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer and Akashdeep Sabir. If producer Sajid Nadiadwala had his way, he would have expanded this already sprawling star cast. Bollywood Hungama has learned that two veteran actors, Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, were also offered roles in Housefull 5. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Initially, the plan was to have Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar play the cops. These roles were ultimately played by Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff. After a successful Da-Bangg tour in Dubai, Salman Khan returns to Mumbai.

Salman Khan lit up the stage at Expo 2020 in Dubai on Friday night as part of his Da-Bangg tour. At Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium, the star-studded tour performance took place. Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Hegde, Disha Patani, Aayush Sharma, Guru Randhawa, Saiee Manjrekar, Kamaal Khan, and Maniesh Paul performed in front of thousands of live audience members alongside Salman Khan.

Salman Khan returned to Mumbai on Saturday night after his explosive performance. He was seen at the airport wearing a checked shirt with red, black, and white colours. He dressed it down with a grey T-shirt and black denim.


Meanwhile, Salman danced to some of his hit songs during his performance in Dubai. The superstar is seen dancing to the legendary song 'Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din' in one of the videos, and the crowd went wild as he did the signature towel dance. The actor also gave a passionate performance to the song "Slow Motion" from his film Bharat. He also performed to the song 'Dil Deewana,' which has become a classic.

On the work front, Salman will soon finish filming Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. Following that, he will begin filming with Pooja Hegde for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

The Portable Door review – Harry Potter-ish YA fantasy carried by hardworking cast

Jeffrey Walker’s adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel retains its edge thanks to its performances, but gets stuck on the whole door thing Adapted from Tom Holt’s 2003 young-adult fantasy novel, this is a passable attempt at kickstarting a new Harry Potter-style franchise set in a fusty-quirky institution, dosed up with extra Gilliamesque grotesquery.
