The Blood Countess review – Isabelle Huppert reigns supreme in a surreal vampire fantasia

The list of contestants on Kangana Ranaut's show Lock Upp includes Sunil Pal, Payal Rohatgi, and Poonam Pandey.

On February 27, Kangana Ranaut presented the reality show Lock Upp, which was produced by Ekta Kapoor and premiered on ALT Balaji and MX Player. The names of five of the show's 16 contentious competitors were released by the producers prior to the show's grand premiere. Every candidate was revealed individually on the night of the debut, and as expected, the contestants are controversial personalities who have recently made headlines for the wrong reasons.

The following is the full list of contestants:


Nisha Rawal made headlines last year after accusing her then-husband Karan Mehra of physical violence and having an adulterous affair. She had also filed a police report against him and organised a news conference to discuss the alleged domestic abuse in greater detail. Karan, on the other hand, has refuted all charges.


Munawar Faruqui: The stand-up comedian made headlines in January 2021 when he was imprisoned for a month after a BJP MLA's son accused him of offending religious sensitivities in one of his stand-up gigs. Several of his live gigs in Bengaluru were cancelled later that year due to protests by Hindu right-wing groups.

Poonam Pandey: In addition to her roles in pornographic films, Poonam made headlines when she filed a lawsuit against her husband, Sam Bombay, alleging molestation, threats, and violence. She was also a suspect in a pornography investigation.


Babita Phogat: One of the less controversial competitors, Babita won the gold medal in the women's freestyle 55 kg division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She and her husband Vivek Suhag had previously been on the show Nach Baliye 9.

Sara Khan rose to fame after appearing on Bigg Boss 4 and marrying Ali Merchant on the show. They split, however, after only a few months, sparking suspicions about whether their marriage was staged for the purpose of gaining TRP.
