Kanguva announces release date; Suriya starrer to clash with Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra

Coming from the house of Studio Green, the much-awaited Kanguva starring Suriya, is indeed one of the biggest films that everyone is eagerly looking forward to. With the film bringing together Suriya and Bobby Deol, who are expected to have a massive showdown in the film, this has definitely piqued excitement among audiences who are curious to know more about the film. Now the makers have finally announced the film's release date as October 10, 2024.

With the new poster, the makers of 'Kanguva' made this grand announcement of the release date on social media along with the caption, "Ready yourselves to welcome the Warrior King ?? Our #Kanguva is set to conquer your hearts and screens from October 10, 2024 ????? #KanguvaFromOct10 ??" Interestingly, Kanguva is expected to release in several languages beyond South and Hindi.

Kanguva to clash with several Hindi films including Jigra

About three releases are scheduled to release on October 11 which majorly includes Jigra, that marks the return of Alia Bhatt in theatres (in a Bollywood film) after Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani last year.  The film also stars The Archies star Vedang Raina and marks his first theatrical release. Besides this, makers of Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri starrer comedy drama Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Vala Video and Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde starrer cop-action entertainer Deva too have also announced the same release date.

The film features cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and a musical score by ‘Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. We hear that the makers have created a very specific look while showing the prehistoric period and that they hired experts from Hollywood for the technical departments like action and cinematography. While the teaser gave a glimpse of its enormous and thrilling world, it will also be presenting the Tamil superstar Suriya in a never-before-seen avatar of the Mighty Warrior whereas Bobby Deol as the antagonist.
