Jackky Bhagnani has returned to acting after a six-year gap with the Independence Day anthem 'Tere Rang Mein,' released under his music label Jjust Music. The actor-producer said the song offered him an opportunity to return to the screen with a project that was personally meaningful to him. Bhagnani described himself as a patriot and said the nature of the song played an important role in his decision to face the camera again. “I am a patriot by heart. It’s been quite some time since I faced the camera. So, I thought the best way to come back is with the right cause,” Bhagnani said. The actor's return comes after several years of focusing primarily on film production. According to Bhagnani, stepping away from acting was a conscious decision as he worked behind the scenes and became more involved in producing films. Kangana Ranaut's Emergency postponed again due to Lok Sabha elections

The release of Kangana Ranaut's political drama Emergency has been postponed once again. The makers of the film issued a statement on Wednesday, announcing that the film will not hit theatres on June 14, 2024, as originally planned. This decision comes as Kangana Ranaut is currently deeply involved in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, where she is contesting from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

In the statement, the team behind Emergency expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received for Kangana Ranaut, affectionately referred to as the "queen" by her fans. They emphasized her commitment to serving the nation and fulfilling her responsibilities as a political candidate, which has led to the postponement of the film's release.

“Our hearts are filled with love pouring in for our queen Kangana Ranaut. As she prioritizes her duty to the nation and her commitment to serve the country, the release date of our much-awaited film ‘Emergency’ has been postponed. We promise to update you soon with a new release date. Thank you for your continued support,” the statement by team Emergency read.

Emergency promises to delve into significant political events. The film is expected to explore the tumultuous period of India's history during the Emergency era, which lasted from 1975 to 1977.

This is not the first time Emergency has faced delays. The film, directed by Kangana Ranaut herself, has seen its release date pushed back on several occasions. The film also stars Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, and Anupam Kher.
