Yesterday, on May 15, Maddock Films, the producers of Bhool Chuk Maaf and PVR Inox, in a joint statement, announced that the Rajkummar Rao-Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Bhool Chuk Maaf will arrive in cinemas on May 23. The official statement did not answer the question that was on the minds of several people in the industry and trade – is the romcom arriving on OTT in two weeks, as reported by a section of the media? Some stakeholders in the industry believed that one should wait for an answer from either of the two parties before jumping to conclusions. However, some believe that since both the producer and multiplex chain didn’t choose to address this aspect, it confirms the speculations. Shah Rukh Khan's action extravaganza, Jawan, continues to dominate the awards circuit, this time receiving a prestigious nomination at the Taurus World Stunt Awards. The film's high-octane stunts, which captivated audiences worldwide, have been recognized in the category of Best Stunts.

Jawan's nomination adds another feather to its already impressive cap. The film not only smashed box office records, grossing over Rs. 1159 crore but also garnered critical acclaim. Jawan's stunt director took home awards at both the 2024 Filmfare Awards and Zee Cine Awards. The significance of the Taurus nomination cannot be overstated. Often referred to as the Oscars of stunt work, the Taurus World Stunt Awards recognize the very best in action filmmaking. The Portable Door review – Harry Potter-ish YA fantasy carried by hardworking cast

Jeffrey Walker’s adaptation of the young-adult fantasy novel retains its edge thanks to its performances, but gets stuck on the whole door thing Adapted from Tom Holt’s 2003 young-adult fantasy novel, this is a passable attempt at kickstarting a new Harry Potter-style franchise set in a fusty-quirky institution, dosed up with extra Gilliamesque grotesquery.
