IRS officer and former NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has strongly objected to Shah Rukh Khan-owned Red Chillies Entertainment's defense of its Netflix web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, calling the show "a calculated hit job designed to settle personal scores.” In his rejoinder filed before the Delhi High Court, Wankhede dismissed the production house's claim that the show is satire, stating the series is a deliberate attempt to malign his reputation following the 2021 cruise ship drug raid case involving Aryan Khan, who directed the series. Wankhede alleged, "the character of a government officer depicted in the series was deliberately modelled on him, citing striking resemblances in appearance, speech, and the use of his trademark phrase 'Satyamev Jayate.' It appears that Elizabeth Chambers attempted to collude with House of Effie to take down her estranged husband, Armie Hammer, in a twist that could have been lifted straight from the pages of a suspense book. Effie is a pseudonym used by the woman who created the now-famous Instagram account that was the first to level allegations of sexual misconduct against Hammer. Effie has shared text messages that are said to have been sent by Chambers, which show the founder of Bird Bakery pressuring Chambers to press charges against Hammer so that she can get full custody of their two children, Harper and Ford. Effie, who later accused Hammer of raping her, allegedly told Chambers that she was "feeling a little bit suicidal" and that she didn't have time to talk to Chambers in one of the texts that were shared on her Instagram account. Effie also claimed that she didn't have the opportunity to speak with Chambers. At one time, Chambers allegedly stated, "I truly need custody of my lovely children." Chambers has two children. She is reported to have written that he hasn't even seen the children, that he f*cks anybody who walks by, and that he is taking a new blonde out on his father's big yacht.
